Twice as Good

The Son & Father, Native American, Ultimate Blues Duo! Paul & Rich Steward taking the sounds of Blues from the Indian Reservation mixing in Soul, Rock&Roll and a little hip-hop, to world. Originally from Clearlake Oaks in rural Northern California the Father, Rich, taught his youngest Son, Paul, to play the guitar. They both had a passion for the Blues and began performing together for friends parties. Soon their brand of high energy dancin' blues with the 2XG Band was the hit all over California, proudly earning them a 2010 Best New Blues Band award from the West Coast Blues Hall of Fame and later that year winning the 2010 Blues Album of the Year from the Native American Music Awards which established them as a National act. They were featured at the 2011 Monterey Bay Blues Festival to an astounded crowd and many more great concerts, sharing the stage with greats like Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Charlie Musselwhite, Big Bill Morganfield, Wes Studi, and more. For 2012 they are releasing a brand new studio album to be released in the Spring followed with a national tour. Catch them on the road because they're fans aren't just good, they are Twice As Good.
