The Scottsdale Culinary Festival was started by Scottsdale League for the Arts, a non-profit organization of volunteers, as a way to raise funds and support local arts and arts education programs.
Each summer Scottsdale League for the Arts donates 100% of proceeds from the previous year’s events through its grant program. These donations help fund a wide variety of organizations such as arts education programs, professional performing arts groups, children’s theatre and much more.
Most recently, the League donated more than $302,000 to 54 arts organizations from funds raised through the 2010 Scottsdale Culinary Festival.
